Steaming Lamb Shoulders on the Ramadan Iftar buffet

Steaming Lamb Shoulders on the Ramadan Iftar buffet

Ramadan Iftar Buffet

Every year during the month of Ramadan we serve food to hundreds of people breaking their fast (Iftar) within a 1-2 hour window. People who have fasted all day from sunrise to sunset can indulge in the Iftar buffet at our restaurant, which includes a wide variety of appetizers, main courses, drinks, and dessert. Our Ramadan buffet in Anaheim is second to none. We prioritize not just quantity, but quality as well. We believe the first meal after 16 hours of fasting deserves to be not just good, but great. Once Ramadan is around the corner we will begin releasing the daily main courses that will be served on our Iftar buffet, so you can prepare ahead of time for your favorite dishes. We always recommend reserving a table well before attending because we usually sell out a day in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Ramadan Buffet

what is ramadan?

Ramadan is a holy month to Muslims in which they fast from sunrise to sunset. This means that they do not eat anything or even drink water for as long as 16 hours. Breaking their fast is called, iftar and it is a means for people to get together and socialize marking the end of their fast. This is where Aleppo’s Kitchen comes in to provide a vast buffet with many food & drink options to choose from after a 16 hour fast. The Anaheim community has a large Muslim population that looks to break its fast at a nearby restaurant and we are always there to help meet that need. We feel an obligation to help people who have had a difficult day by being there for them when they really need it, so they can unwind and have a delicious meal.

At What time will the ramadan buffet open?

Our Ramadan buffet in Anaheim will be open 5 minutes before sunset, which is right before people break their all-day fast. The iftar buffet will last for about 2 to 2.5 hours. We always recommend arriving 15 minutes earlier than sunset to avoid any long lines and to be one of the first people to touch the buffet.

what food will be served on the buffet?

Our Ramadan Buffet consists of 6-7 Mediterranean main courses, 12-15 appetizers, 2-3 types of dessert, and cold & hot drinks. This includes lamb, beef, chicken, and vegetarian options as well. Each day the food varies, but the quality never changes. Please visit our website or call ahead of time to get the menu of the day during the month of Ramadan.

do i need to make a reservation?

We highly recommend you call us ahead of time and make a reservation to ensure a spot at our buffet. We are usually completely booked on the weekend and come close to near capacity during the weekdays. Another benefit of calling ahead of time is being able to choose which section you would like to sit in since we have smoking and non-smoking sections.

Are you open all day during ramadan?

Unfortunately, we are closed during the day and only open for a few hours during the evening. This occurs for a 29 or 30 day span every year. Hours will be reflected and updated on Google, Yelp, Facebook, and other social media platforms to help you know ahead of time.

Do you cater during ramadan?

The short answer is yes. We do cater during Ramadan, but in a limited capacity. There are only certain hours of the day we can cater and only certain food. The hours are limited to afternoon and evening & since we do not have our regular menu there are certain items we cannot prepare during that month.
